
Every year, over three million children in the US are reported abused and neglected.
Despite state welfare attempts to help, many of these children become trapped in the court and child welfare maze and can spend their childhood moving from one temporary shelter to another.
Georgia's foster children are a very vulnerable population who deserve a better chance for a safe, happy and productive life.
CASA advocacy for these children not only helps them get that chance now but also helps to avoid their future school drop-outs, unemploment, welfare comsumption and possible delinquency.
